PRICING GUIDE FOR YOUR TRANSLATION

How do we calculate your translation cost?

Quantity of words: Our English, Spanish and Portuguese translations are charged based on the number of words in the source text. Proofreading and Copyediting are priced based on the number of words in the document to be proofread or edited. You will always know how much we will charge for the translation job in advance. If your document is scanned and we cannot count the words electronically (e.g. a Birth Certificate), we will charge the job based on the number of pages of the source document.

Deadline: We generally translate about 1300-2000 words daily and we proofread about 2000-4000 daily. We will need extra time if your translation project requires DTP services. Rates for urgent translations are usually 30% above the normal fees.

Source and Target Language: A target language refers to the language being translated to and the source language is the language being translated from. For example, if your document is in English and you need a Portuguese Translation, then the source language is English and target language is Portuguese. Our Portuguese and Spanish Translation services cost less than our English Translation service.

Complexity of the subject matter: The level of complexity of each document is important when determining a rate for your translation. For example, a general text costs less than a technical translation.
